pptest_breadboard_config - check breadboard_config.py’s own real parser/writer

pptest_breadboard_config
{--help|--version}
pptest_breadboard_config is this project’s own real verification tool for breadboard_config.py: it checks that module’s own real parser and writer, for both a single real board (load_config()/write_config()) and a real, multi-board assembly (load_multiboard_config()/write_multiboard_config()), against KNOWN, already-established ground truth — this project’s own real, worked examples (breadboard1.conf, breadboard2.conf, both real, physical board measurements) and breadboard_config.py’s own real, documented defaults — not synthetic, invented fixtures.
No kicad-cli(1) dependency: breadboard_config.py itself is pure INI parsing and writing, no KiCad interaction at all.
Run this after any change to breadboard_config.py itself. It is also what make check runs as part of this project’s own real test suite.
--version
Show this project’s own current version (read from VERSION) and exit.
--quiet
Suppress the section header lines. Every [ok]/[FAIL] check result, and the final summary, are still printed — this silences routine narration only, never a real result.
--extreme
Also run the three EXTREME-SCALE checks (1300, 1600 and 3200 passives, with the component ceiling overridden): the checks that exposed the performance pathology of relieve_overflow() and run_declutter(). Each is a 65 to 75 minute run on the author’s machine, so they are off by default and make check runs the other fifteen, two seconds in all.
